Trees for Troops
The Trees for Troops program of the National Christmas Tree Association and the Christmas Spirit Foundation provides Real Christmas trees to our military personnel in the United States and around the world.
In 2010, over 700 Christmas tree growers in 28 states donated over 17,000 Christmas trees.
These trees were delivered to over 66 US military bases throughout the U.S. and foreign countries.
Fed Ex, a partner in this program, also provided over 56,000 miles of free shipment of these trees to those military bases.
Christmas tree growers from South Carolina have been a part of the Trees for Troops program since its conception, and will 
continue to do so in 2011. They are grateful for the opportunity to support our military personnel and bring happiness to those that are risking their lives everyday for our country and freedom.
In addition to South Carolina Christmas tree growers donating trees to the program, you can help by purchasing additional trees that will be donated or by making a donation to help cover other cost of the program. Ask your participating farm or retail lot for details.
