Penland Christmas Tree Farm is a choose and cut tree farm. You are able to go cut down your own tree, with a saw we provide for you. After cutting down your perfect tree we will shake and wrap your tree. Wrapping your tree makes it a lot easier to take home. During your visit you can enjoy a free hayride around the farm and free hot chocolate sitting around the firepit. Make sure you stop by our Snack Shack, Mulch Mountain and Treasure Barn also. Visiting Penland Christmas Tree Farm is a wonderful experience to share with family and friends.The adventure will create lifelong memories! We look forward to seeing you!

HISTORY

Penland Christmas Tree Farm was started in 1966 by Steve Penland. Shortly later he met Judy Penland and married in 1970. Steve and Judy sold their first tree in 1972. Steve and Judy along with their four children enjoyed their life on the Christmas Tree Farm.

In 2018 Steve and Judy "retired" and their daughter Allison Moses and her husband, Martin took over the farm. Allison and Martin and their three children are excited to carry on the family tradition.
